Terms of Service — Takrita

1. Who we are & agreeing to these terms

Takrita (takrita.com) is operated under the registered Raayona (רעיונא) trade name (Osek Patur, registered 18 August 2026), Israel [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm operator-identification wording]. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Takrita.

2. What Takrita is (and isn't)

Takrita generates AI-powered travel itineraries from your inputs. It is an information and planning tool. Takrita is not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking platform: we don't sell flights, hotels, or tours, and we are not a party to any booking you make with third parties.

3. AI-generated content — verify before you rely on it

Itineraries are generated by AI (Google Gemini, Perplexity) using live web data. AI makes mistakes: opening hours, prices, transit details, and availability can be wrong or stale. Always verify critical details — visas, entry rules, health requirements, safety advisories, opening hours, and prices — with official sources before booking or traveling. Scores (1–100) are algorithmic fit estimates, not guarantees.

4. Accounts

One account per person; keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts for abuse (§8).

5. Tokens & payments

• What tokens are: a prepaid usage credit for generating itineraries and premium features. Tokens are not money, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and can't be redeemed for cash except where refund law requires.
• Packs & price: token packs (e.g., 10 tokens for $4.99) at the prices shown at checkout, which may change for future purchases.
• Purchased tokens do not expire. As long as Takrita operates and your account is in good standing, paid tokens remain usable. (Free/bonus/promotional tokens may carry stated expiry or conditions.)
• If Takrita ever shuts down: we will give at least [30/60] days' notice and [refund unused purchased tokens pro-rata / describe remedy — LEGAL DECISION].
• Seller of record: purchases are processed by Paddle as merchant of record — your purchase contract is with Paddle and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the transaction (including VAT/taxes and payment handling).
• Refunds & cancellation: handled with/via Paddle per its Buyer Terms plus your statutory rights. EU/UK consumers: by starting to use purchased tokens you request immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that the 14-day withdrawal right lapses for consumed content [LEGAL REVIEW — Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(m) consent flow, and confirm Paddle checkout captures this consent]. Israeli consumers: cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection Law (חוק הגנת הצרכן) distance-selling rules apply as required by law [LEGAL REVIEW — exact application to digital tokens].
• Token deductions per generation are shown in-app; failed generations caused by our system fault are re-credited [CONFIRM product behavior].

6. Bookings with third parties & affiliate links

Booking links (e.g., GetYourGuide, Stay22 partners) take you to third parties. Your booking contract is with them; their terms, prices, and cancellation policies govern. Some links are affiliate links — see our Affiliate Disclosure. We're not responsible for third-party services, and commissions never affect recommendations.

7. Your content & license

You own your trip inputs. You grant us a license to process them to run the service (including sending trip context to AI providers) and to improve Takrita in anonymized/aggregated form [ALIGN with privacy policy + learning-layer reality]. Generated itineraries are yours to use personally; don't resell them as a commercial product.

8. Acceptable use

No scraping, no reverse-engineering the pipeline, no reselling access, no automated bulk generation, no unlawful use, no attempting to extract other users' data.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, travel losses, or third-party bookings; our total liability is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or [USD 50]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or consumers' mandatory statutory rights. [LEGAL REVIEW — consumer-law carve-outs per jurisdiction.]

10. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may terminate for breach; if we terminate without cause, unused purchased tokens are refunded pro-rata [LEGAL DECISION].

11. Governing law & disputes

Israeli law; courts of [Tel Aviv], Israel — except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your home country gives you non-waivable rights or venue. [LEGAL REVIEW.]

12. Changes to these terms

We'll post updates and bump the date; material changes get [14/30] days' in-app notice. Continued use = acceptance; token-affecting changes never apply retroactively to already-purchased tokens.
